A Woman's Right To Vote

So last night while eating pizza, ice cream, and popcorn and flipping between the Celtics and The Red Sox I was reading the Constitution or Bill of Rights or something (it was the part with the amendment that gave woman the right to vote)

This happened around 1920 give or take.

And since that time:

-Hitler went from misunderstood artist to mass killer.

-Two atomic bombs were dropped on some asian country.

-A war with Korea.

-A war with Vietnam.

-No war with France.

-Kennedy, Kennedy, and Marty all shot dead.

-Ghandi won best picture over E.T.

-Highlander 2

-2003 ALCS.

-The Twin Towers fell. Or collapsed. Or something.

-and a bunch of other stuff women screwed up.

So to sum up:

Was giving women the right to vote REALLY such a good idea?

Tomorrow we tackle the Emancipation Proclamation

Don't forget about the "Moon Landing".

PS...it's spelled "Gandhi", and it deserved to win over E.T. The real crime was "Annie Hall" beating "Star Wars" in 77. That's just wrong.

You're safe now. Just don't let him steal your lunch box -- he'll say he's taking it for the Yodels, but he's really hoping you hid your Hello Kitty comb and brush set in there.

All boys secretly love Hello Kitty. It's true!

Dear Joe,

I spelled Ghandi wrong on purpose so all those peace loving freaks wouldn't stumble upon this blog when doing a google search.

Thanks for screwing that up.

Hey, Sparkle said she got poison ivy...maybe it was actually cooties. Maybe you should loan her your cootie repellant just in case?

All boys love pink and glitter, too...really.

Joe D: Star Wars in '77, oh really?

Over "Airport '77" ???

It had everything --

An inspired plot:
"Art thieves hijack a 747, hit fog and crash into the ocean, trapping them and the passengers under 100 feet of water."

Top actors:
Christopher Lee and Darren McGavin in the same movie with Jimmy Stewart! Plus no Red Buttons!

Awesome tagline:
"All new, bigger, and more exciting than AIRPORT 1975!"

It had it all.

Star Wars -- huh, guess the Women really have won....

Star Wars had Han Solo.

The end.

Dear IANO,
You're welcome.

Dear HorrorU,
I forgot about Airport '77. Anything with Darren McGavin trumps George Lucas.

Did you not even READ my comment!?

But don't forget...Han Solo played Tucker in that other George Lucas film

THX1138: Tucker? Wasn't that Jeff Bridges? Of course it was. What are you trying to do here, you subversive thing, you!

IANO: Hitler coming to power in Germany was the result of American women getting the vote in 1920?

{shouting to heavens a la Jon Stewart] Damn you, ripple effect!!!
